Donna Branch's glass work has been exhibited in group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the United States, including "Spotlight, American Craft Council Southeast Region Juried Exhibition", "The Red Clay Survey", Huntsville Museum of Art, Huntsville, AL and Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Montgomery, AL. In addition, her work is in many private collections.
As the recipient of numerous awardsa nd honors, she received the honor of a Juror Award from noted art critic Susan Knowles, who writes for Art Papres, Number and Sculpture; a Juror Award from Faith Ringgold in "Appalachian Corridors", Juried Exhibition, Avampato Museum in Charleston, West Virginia; and a Juror Award from Dr. Emily Hanna, Curator of Arts of Africa and the Americas, Birmingham Museum of Art, Birmingham, AL.
Several publications have featured Donna's work including the Huntsville Times, Birmingham News and Birmingham magazine. Her work will be featured in upcoming features in Southern Living magazine and on HGTV Television Network.
Donna Branch was born in Birmingham, AL. She received a B.S. Degree from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, an M.A. degree from Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, AL, and has studied at the Studios of the Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, NY.
