TACA TENNESSEE CRAFT FAIR SET AS DONATION SITE FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

The TACA Tennessee Craft Fair, scheduled for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Nashville’s Centennial Park will go forward as scheduled. The statewide organization is partnering with Nashville nonprofits The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and Second Harvest Food Bank to provide opportunities for visitors to the craft fair to donate to victims of the historic floods that ravaged the mid-state last weekend.

The TACA Tennessee Craft Fair has partnered with The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (www.cfmt.org) via NowPlayingNashville.com to serve as a collection site for donations to benefit those residents of Middle Tennessee affected by the recent flooding. Craft fair visitors can donate with cash, check or credit card.

Additionally, Second Harvest Food Bank (www.secondharvestmidtn.org) will have drop boxes on site for donations of canned goods and non-perishable items for flood victims and the hungry in Nashville. Second Harvest is in most need of the following items: peanut butter, canned fruit and canned meat.
